Thank you for your card of the 7th of November, offering us a whole day fixture at Warnford, on Sunday 6th September. This I have pleasure in accepting. I'm afraid I have no recollection of the end of the last Sydenhurst game, since I was taken ill, with a high temperature and sent home by Jumbo. I apologise for this unceremonious departure from your beautiful ground and promise not to repeat the episode next year.
