In so far as we had time on our hands in Dublin, many took advantage of the open-top bus trips around the centre of the city stopping off at such venues as the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College and Dublin Castle. It was at this latter where we came across a sand sculpture exhibition in the course of construction:
