Harry Hooper and Nick Wood broke the 2nd wicket partnership record against the Hampshire Hogs at Warnford in May which had stood since 1960 when Nick Harper (102) and David Childs (138*) put on 218 against the Gentlemen of Worcestershire at Kidderminster during that summer's tour of the West Midlands. The 272-1 innings total v. Hampshire Hogs was the 17th highest by a Ramblers' side. Earlier on in the Hogs' innings their opener, P.Came (148) was 5 runs away from passing the second highest score ever (152 by Ray Pitman for Hampshire Club & Ground in 1955) against the Club.
Somerset Pheasant (55) and Ed. Jones (63*) created a new 8th wicket record partnership of 105 against Emeriti at Brook in August. This passed the previous best - 97 - set by Adrian Stephenson and Don Barnes at Haslemere in 1968.
Bangor's innings total at Brook in July was the 11th highest against the Ramblers in its 57 year history but was accompanied, in a summer of generally glorious weather and flat pitches by 5 other totals of over 250. This in a season of only 10 completed matches.
Brian Davenport became the 19th member of the Club to have played in 100 matches.
