Sydenhurst Ramblers almost ceased to exist in 1984. It was decided to hold the line with a few of our special opponents this year and to re-build the fixtures for 1986. Many of our traditional opponents have already invited renewal and we will once again entertain Commonwealth touring sides - from Australia and Africa

After an unbeaten season in 1985, Sydenhurst Ramblers are on the road to recovery. By arrangement with Brook Cricket Club, the fixtures are predominantly mid-week. For the first time since the 1970's, Sydenhurst return to Brook and it is sincerely hoped that the close historic relationship between the two clubs will be endorsed by the participation of Brook
members in these mid-week matches.
